Wooly Bully Races 2022
The Wooly Bully Races will be held on Sunday, August 14th at the farm of Dave Willard, 600 South Services Road on Amherst Island. This year, the 10k/5K races will start simultaneously 9:45 a.m., preceded by the 1K Kids Run at 9:30 a.m. Chip timing will be provided by ‘Running Goat’ event services.
Please note that the ferry over to Amherst Island runs on the half hour from the Millhaven dock on Highway 33 just east of Bath, Ontario. The 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. ferries will get you to the race in plenty of time. The 9:30 a.m. ferry will not. The ferry leaves from the Stella dock on the hour. Car pooling is encouraged, if you feel comfortable doing this.
The official charity of the ‘Wooly Bully Races’ is the “Neilson Store Museum and Cultural Centre,’ located in the village of Stella on Amherst Island.
Registration for the live event will close late Thursday, August 12th. Race kit pickup and final race registration will be at Runner’s Choice, 56 Brock Street, Kingston, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13th.
