Meet the Bees
4th generation beekeeper Mike will teach you about the annual cycle of bee life and beekeeper activities. You’ll see what equipment is needed, and be able to handle tools and gear. There will be a honey tasting station. At the end of the workshop, you’ll be invited to walk to one of the colonies (please bring safety glasses and a jacket if you wish to get up close) where you can watch the bees and learn to identify different roles within the colony.
