Please be advised that a portion of Front Road (5530-5440) on Amherst Island will be temporarily closed to all thru traffic for approximately two days, beginning today (Aug 20) at 7 a.m. and re-opening by Thursday (Aug 22) around 5 p.m.

Detour signage will be placed. Once the installation/closure is complete, temporary lane closures will be required daily to finish the remaining work at this location. Some minor traffic delays can be expected.
