Annual General Meeting of the Neilson Store Museum followed by a Back Room Talk by Board Member and Island Artist Peter Large

We will have a quick meeting  to enable discussion on the 2022 Annual Report, followed by a very special Backroom Talk presentation by the Amherst Island resident artist and Neilson Store Museum Board member,  Peter Large.

This show,  known as “Traces” is a visual trip back to a past way of life.  It is a collection of drawings portraying many of Amherst Island’s historical buildings , landscapes and relic farm equipment. Each image is like the cover  of a book hinting at the tales within.   We hope, with audience participation, to uncover some of these stories as we view the beautiful images together.

Light refreshments will be served after the show. Free admission (donations are always welcome).
