Dry Stone Walling Competition
Dry Stone Canada invites you to a friendly walling competition at the Amherst Island Lodge! Open to all levels, participants will take down and rebuild a section of wall against the clock. Prizes include $500 (1st), $250 (2nd), and $100 (3rd), with goodies for everyone.
The Lodge, formerly run by long-time supporter Molly Stroyman and now owned by Graham and Tagget, will host the event using a wall originally built at a past festival. Among the judges is Neil Rippingale from the Kentucky Dry Stone Conservancy.
Registration deadline: September 17.
