Doors Open at Rossland Gardens
Rossland Gardens welcomes visitors for Doors Open Loyalist Township on Saturday, June 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Located on one of Amherst Island’s oldest farmsteads, Rossland Gardens brings together history, Canadian fine craft, gardens, and natural trails. Visitors are invited to explore the gallery, wander the gardens and woodland paths, and experience the setting of a historic island property that has been carefully restored and tended over the past decade.
For this special Doors Open event, guests will also have a rare opportunity to step inside portions of the historic house.
Gallery Rossland Gardens features a curated selection of Canadian fine craft, including flameworked glass by Darlene Martin-Stuart and metal stringed instruments by Ross Stuart, alongside work by selected Canadian artists.
Please note that the trails and historic buildings include natural, uneven ground, steps, and old floors. The site has not been formally assessed for wheelchair accessibility. No dogs, please, in order to protect the gardens, wildlife, and other visitors.
